A jeeva’s feelings of devotion are offered through his 101 naadis to the Indweller “God”. In turn, he receives knowledge of the self.

Liberation means losing the individual name and form by merging in the formless Brahman. It is like a river that loses its identity merging in the sea. Worshipping God with name and form and enjoying the taste is called Jeevan Mukthi.

Love purifies air and sancrifies the earth
The worship of the formless is very difficult; one needs to have a pure, awakened intellect and strong determination. Only those who do not have any trace of body consciousness can follow this path. As humans, we are born with name and form and so it is easier to engage the mind in worship of God with form. If one does penance with devotional fervor, he can merge in the formless, attribute less, Primal Soul.

Prema does not know shame. It cannot be controlled by anyone or anything it is ever free.

Through the path of intense sadhana everyone should aspire to reach this state. At this stage the jeeva enjoys blissful experiences with the Lord. The jeeva has attained the causal body and is in the state of Jeevan Mukthi. He enjoys the bliss of liberation while living in the physical body. Why wait to be liberated at the time of death? Is there any enjoyment after death? We can enjoy Mukthi here itself right now. I have attained this state and I am enjoying great bliss.

Pure thoughts make man God. Impure thoughts make man an animal

Through the path of sadhana, the jeeva awakens the power of the Kundalini Shakthi. The Kundalini rises to the Ajna chakra, the third eye and here the ida and pingala nadis come together, like two entwined snakes facing each other. Above this point is the Brahmarandra. It is situated between the sixth and seventh chakra of Kundalini. Here the Jeevatma and Paramatma experience each other in the state of duality, enjoying bliss.

Your feelings turned towards God will make you God.

Wednesday, June 25, 2014

There is one Universal Consciousness. Our feelings connect us to that Universal Consciousness.

We can realize Truth when we remove the thought, ‘I am the body’. Then every feeling becomes Truth.

The five elements directly affect the five senses. If we are not pure, the five elements will lose their purity. Therefore, each one of us is responsible to bring harmony to the five elements.

It is the mind and senses, which govern the life force. Reason dominates with its rule of symmetry. The soul enthroned on a bench of law.

Swami underlined this. Here it tells how man’s discrimination is limited by his own destiny. The mind and senses rule the Atma. Man lives according to the dictates of the mind and senses; there is no place for Atma. He does not know of Atma. He only does whatever the mind and senses like. He does this only. This habit comes birth after birth. His discrimination works also according to his destiny. He himself makes a law, enthrones the Atma on it and acts according to this.

God is love. Expressing this love is man's dharma

... In this nether realms of Life all kinds of contraries are mixed up. Truth and error, Wisdom and Ignorance, Death and Life are all mingled in this valley of fleeting Gleams. Souls trapped in this region become agents of Life’s desires, not their masters. Some, however, warily pass across and reach a greater life

What is nether loka or world? There are 14 worlds in the body of all. There are 7 higher worlds above the stomach and 7 which are called the nether worlds below. I have written of this before in many books. They are all opposites, contradictions. For the one whose Atma is here, he cannot go upward. Though this man lives in a human body, he lives like an animal. Here, sadhakas need more awareness. One must struggle with these contradictions and go beyond them. Even the great sages and rishis have been cheated here. I have written two books on Miracle Maya.

If our feelings are pure, we will enjoy strength and vigour.

... Savithri observes the birth of thought. She sees the activities of the various faculties in the subtle Centres of Consciousness – the several Lotuses. She feels the totality of the Universe, the high meeting the low. She beholds the mighty Power of Nature and the role of the individual as its instrument. God and nature do all, only soul’s acceptance is man’s own.

As Savithri goes on her journey, she hears a voice, which tells her that if she wants to protect this Universe,

... You must bear all Universal suffering. If you want to know the truth of God, remove all from your mind and become empty for God

This has happened in my life. I asked Swami to take all from me, making me empty. I cried and wailed to Him for this, ‘Make me empty!’ It was on that day I became empty. Those who want to attain God, must first empty themselves. It is only then that God can be attained. There should be no thoughts or desires, nothing should be there. This is the first thing for those who are on the path of sadhana. Every thought and
feeling enters each chakra of Kundalini and gives a worldly experience. Feelings and behavior imprint in a subtle way in each of the seven lotuses (chakras) of Kundalini. Sri Aurobindo explains this through Savithri’s journey in each chakra.

We thing that food is the reason for health. Actually, it is our feelings that affect our health

Our feelings are responsible for the creation of our lives.

On page 144 of Aurobindo's book on Savithri it states,

... Wisdom is reduced to formula...
... Life’s empire is forced into a scheme of Reason, its course is confined to a safe level path. It no more dares to adventure, to soar too high or to set the world afire.

Thus, man’s thoughts are only of a world he perceives; he cannot go beyond this. Beyond this is a spiritual realm, his Atmic Kingdom. Due to man’s limited knowledge, he makes a formula into which he forces this spiritual kingdom, confining it there. What this man has learned over the ages does not allow him to go beyond a particular level. Age after age, man is born again and again. He has been trained to follow only one
particular path. He is born, grows, marries and a lineage multiplies. This is his life formula. Some go beyond this. They go to the temple, perform japa and meditation, offering worship to God. These are all like pickles for the main food of his life. He does not know how to go beyond this. There are a few rare souls who want to go beyond; yet, their families do not allow them. They want to contain him in the same old life formula. Thus, sages are rarely born. If at least one from each family would try to lead a spiritual life, the world would then prosper

We should realise that this existence is nothing but a lifelong dream

Nectar Drops …

The departing soul carries his karmic load and thus is reborn on earth

Body is disease, birth is the disease. The body is only born to remove the disease of birth. So I ask for liberation from the Supreme doctor - Swami. He is the only doctor who can remove the disease of birth. If His grace is present, then He can cancel all your old accounts. So make effort now!
Practice what He preaches! Show Love to ALL!

Just as Earth bears the man who plunders her; it is good to bear those who wrong us.

Life is a market. In 1ife, giving and taking, bargaining and speculating, are part of the game. Life has its ups and downs, its profits and losses, its joys and sorrows, depreciations and appreciations and balance sheets. But the giving of Devotion (Bhakti) in exchange for Liberation (Mukthi) is the most powerful business of all.
The proof of the rain is the wetness of the ground; the proof of true devotion is the peace of mind that the aspirant has attained - the peace which protects him against the onslaught of fai1ures, the peace in which he is unruffled by 1oss and dishonor, the peace that does not disturb his mind with anger, hatred, jealousy, conceit and the 1ower passions, the peace which makes him feel tranquil, unconcerned and unattached under all circumstances and with all human natures. Know that you are the embodiment of that peace
Re1igion is a personal encounter of the individua1 with the Supreme. Each one comes from God, is of God, is Himself God. Each individual is a lovely flower in the garden of Allah. It is only in this wor1d that spiritual progress can be made.
Annihilation of ego and disso1ution of desire can be accomplished here and now, or else going and returning back to this transient world is sure …
God wants of you no big showy things. Offer Him your little gifts of love and He will accept them as His holy food.
The true devotee should be a good farmer. The farmer removes the thorny bushes and weeds; the devotee removes wasteful and wicked thoughts from the heart. The farmer plants, plows, waters, sows, manures and then fi1ls his granary with a rich harvest. The devotee plows the heart with good deeds, waters it with love, manures it with faith, plants the saplings of repetition of the Lord’s name (namasmaran), fences his Se1f with discipline and good company (satsang), and then reaps the harvest of wisdom (jnana)

If we taste the nectar of the Lord's name, then the mind will not think about other tastes

Love alone is my nature. I am in a state where I am only conscious of love. It is for this reason the petals of the Sahasrara on the Mukthi Stupi are shown as open. The star on top represents the light of the Atma. This star resonates with a vibration that pervades the whole world and transforms all.

Truth is God. We can attain God by speaking truth.

From birth, my feelings have been rounding Swami, God. I cry and wail for Swami and have written many songs, poems and articles. I have written more than 18,000 letters to Swami. Eventually, He started to show His feelings and asked me to write books. Whenever we speak in meditation, our feelings unite and emerge as books. Over the past 4 years, Swami has been writing and drawing pictures. It is these and the conversations we have in meditation that take the form of the books I write. These are all Swami’s feelings.
Perform your duties skillfully and without attachment The mind should not be directed towards the results, but be totally absorbed in thoughts of God

Feelings are vital on our journey to reach God. It is feelings that are important to speak with God and to hear His voice. With pure feelings we can have the vision of Truth.

Friday, June 13, 2014

Truth cleanses the mind. Speaking truth is inner purity.

Love arises only from name, form and relationship. You seek liberation for the entire world. This is a love without name, form and relationship. It emerges from compassion and love towards the whole world. This results in Universal Liberation.

The mind follows where the eyes go, giving rise to desire

As you think so you become. When we connect our feelings with relations, wealth, job, position, house, etc., we are trapped in a web of our own making. Our feelings and emotions directed towards God can be expressed through the nine paths of devotion. One can attain the highest state through devotion. It releases one from the cycle of birth and death. Attaining God through devotion ends the spiritual journey.

In the beginning see the world as maya. After turning within and seeing the vision of God inside, one should then see the entire world as God.

Lust is most sinful, says Sri Krishna; it obscures wisdom. Born of passion, it enters the senses, shows them all sorts of desires, envelops true knowledge like an insatiable fire and eventually leads to destruction. Attracted by cheap comforts and enjoyments one corrupts his senses and loses his intelligence. He falls into the pit of destruction. Sri Krishna says that one should control the mind through the power of intellect and destroy the enemy called lust.
This is possible through the practice of dispassion. Through dispassion, we divert the mind from going to the senses. There is no permanent gain from temporary sensual pleasures. They are the enemies of eternal bliss. This, one has to remember and say again and again. Constant practice will lead the senses to the righteous path. It is only through practice one learns anything. Divine bliss is eternal bliss. All else pales to insignificance and are but small enjoyments. We should not become slaves to these petty pleasures. When eternal bliss is waiting for you why should you suffer in sorrow? Through wisdom and detachment, one can fully realize the state of Oneness with the Absolute. This is Advaita where He and I (soham) are ONE.

Love without attachment is divine. This is God.

We must live pure lives sacrificing all. We should offer every sense, the mind, intellect and body to the Lord keeping nothing for ourselves. This is how we can touch the Lord. This is the meaning of touching Truth. To touch Truth, we should become Truth.
