        Clown and Beggar

Yamini asked the question, “In the Aitareya Upanishad, it is said that Drishti means to see
with the mind’s eye. You explained for ordinary people, but how do you see all?”
Here is my answer. From my young age, I have never seen anythingfrom a worldly angle. I
connect all with spirituality. I have written of this before in greatdepthas‘cutting and
connecting’. Ordinary people seeone thingthrough their physical eyes, and something else
through their mind’s eye. Whatever I see with myphysical eyes I connect with God. I have
given many examples of this in the past. Thus, Swami now gives pictures, objects and other
things and asks me to write. I am writing about the wisdom of each thing. Whenever and
whatever I see, my eyes do not see the outer view; they see only the inner meaning. I am
telling of the inner divinity of each thing. There is nothing in this world that is devoid of
divinity. All comes from the permanent One God.   Lord Krishna has declared in the Gita that
allinCreation are like the beads strung on a single string. The beads are the many different
creations.  God is the thread, which all is strung on. When one sees the beads, the thread is
hidden from view. Only the beads are seen. Thus, all see the outer world and are deluded.
The beads, which are seen outside are all different. Man passes his time through his‘I and
mine that offamily, post,etc.
Touch feeling is the reason for birth. Whatever touches one’s mind, and shakes man is all
touch feeling. Thus, man is born and dies again and again.  It is unfulfilled desires which are
the reason for rebirth. We must know this truth andgainwisdom. It is only wisdom that
frees one from being born again. The mind is ever asking for things. Desires constantly arise
in theman, healways wants something or other. In one of Swami’s discourses He said, “You
are not beggars, but lions. Then in ‘Sathya Sai Speaksvolume 5, page 85He says,
...Are you not tired ofplayingthe parts of beggarsand clownsinsceneafterscene, birth
after birth?Aspire for the nobler role, at least now in this birth.
This is what Swami has said. Man is ever roaming, searching and running likea beggar birth
after birth. Now, at the timewhen Swami is here,we must not be beggars. All have come
here toattain God.Wemustrealise now,at the time Swami is here. It is due to desires that
manis ever runninghere and there. He goes from place to place, and makes great effortsto
fulfil his wishes. This isMaya; all isperishable. Ifthis isrealised, youwill attain immortal
bliss. This birth has been given to us to attain God.
There is a Supreme power within each one of us. If this is realised and used in correct way,
one can become Supreme.Man does not realisethat he himself is a beggar. When a beggar
comes to his door, he looks at him with disgust and chases him away. We plead with all like
beggars, losing self respect in order to fulfil ourpetitedesires.
The world is a stage, where all are actors. All are born as aspects of God. So, we must show
this truth through our lives.  All are children of the One God. All must declare,
...  I am not the child of a beggar! In this drama, I am a Prince, the son of the King. I am the
son of Emperor Sathya Sai. I am not the son of a clown.
All must think in this way. We must make vow to live our lives according to this. Yet, how to
live? We must be humble to all and show love to them. We must decrease desires and follow
the culture of Bharat. Speak truth and walk the path of righteousness. All must be satisfied

with whatever they have in life. Do not roam place to place for work and money. Nowadays,
all young people want to go and earn money in foreign countries. Yet, all earnings and things
are perishable. We cannot take money and posts with us when we leave this world. Whatever
is learned in spiritual life, the good deeds and qualities, alonecomewith us. We must
practice whatever Swami has preached over last 84 years. It must be practiced in our lives.
Enough of being born and dying again and again! Try to attain God. This is why the greatest
Avatar came and preached to all. We do not take anything with us when we leave this world.
There is no use in multiplying your lineage! Let us see an example. There is a man who has a
son. The boy dies and the parents wail and cry. Seeing their sorrow, their guru comes and
takes the father to Deva Loka. There the man sees his son and goestohim and asks, ‘Son,
how much your mother and I are crying for you, won’t you come back with me to our house?’
The boy asks, ‘Who areyou? I am very happy here. Why are you calling me to earth? What is
the connection between you andI?’ The boy leaves. The mind of man is like this. Who is
related to whom? There is no connection between the one who dies, and his family.  The
father was unhappy as his son was inheavenandtried to callhim back to earth. He wanted
his heir back with him. His lineage must continue and grow!  This was his desire. What is
this foolishness? However much you decrease or multiply your lineage, one day all will
perish. Realise this, discharge your duty without attachment and try to attain God. Follow
Swami’s teachings. Awake! Arise! You are not beggars! You have not come here to multiply
your beggar clan! You are the sons of the Emperor, Sathya Sai. If this is realised your name
will standin the world fora long time like that of Paramahamsha Ramakrishna and Ramana
Maharishi!

What is Videham Mukthi?

5 June 2013 Morning meditation
Vasantha : Swami, when I was writing about the guru, what were the four clouds on
the picture?
Swami : All are passing clouds, now only four remain. Thus, I will come in four
months time.
Vasantha : Really Swami? You will come on Your birthday?
Swami : Sure I will come.
Vasantha : This is enough Swami, please show some proof for this.
End of meditation
Now let us see about this. At noon, Swami gave a card with His picture when He
was young. On the back were many trees with a river flowing underneath. There on the
river a heart form is seen emerging and two eyes. Above the two eyes another one, three
in total. Swami gave this as proof for Him coming (also showing His young form on the
other side of the card). It is through my heartfelt feelings that Swami comes again. He is
showing this. In the picture, many things are seen reflected in the water. There are three
eyes and the reflection of many trees. The element of water is connected to the mouth,
which indicates one of the five senses. I write my feelings through the words that come
from my mouth. These feelings make Swami’s new form. My tears, wailing and the
unbearable suffering and sorrow all bring Him back. My tears run like this river; Swami
comes out from here. Water connects to the fourth prakaram of the Stupi. Swami also
shows His return in four months through this. When we looked more closely, we saw
many pairs of eyes were there. This is according to Sarvatho Pani Padam, but this is
Sarvatho Shiromukha. Thus, all places are God’s eyes, hands, mouths, legs, etc.
When Swami comes, He will become the entire creation. The omnipresent eyes
show this. The two eyes near the heart shape indicate Swami. All others are for creation.
Through this, He confirms His arrival

A few days ago, Swami gave a round paper plate. On the front was an octagon
shape made from eight knife shaped blades. In the center was a rose, on one side of the
rose one leaf, then two and lastly three. Next to this a butterfly sits.
When I saw this, I remembered the life of Saint Catherine. A king nailed her to a
wheel. The eight-sided form on the plate looked like a wheel made of blades. Inside the
orange rose indicates Swami. There is only one Adi Moolam. He separates Himself in
two. This is the one leaf becoming two. Swami and His Shakthi, these two, make the
creation, shown by the three leaves. Thus, God, Shakthi and His Creation are one. One
becomes two, two becomes three. The octagon represents Vaikunta, which descends on
the earth. All become freed from the karmic cocoon and are transformed into butterflies.
Swami and I must pay a price for bestowing Jeevan Mukthi state on all. Just as
Jesus was crucified on the cross, Swami’s and my body are crucified on this wheel. This
is the chakra of world karmas. It wounds both His and my body. The national symbol of
India is the Dharma Chakra. Yet, in the Kali Yuga all in the world has become the
Adharma Chakra. Thus, Swami and I carry this Adharma Chakra’s karmas. We then
bestow Mukthi on all. All become Jeevan Mukthas. The world will function as Sathya Yuga.
Today, I read something in the June issue of 'Sanathana Sarathi' from Swami’s
discourse of 1 August 1996. There Swami talks of the two kinds of Mukthi, ‘Jeevan
Mukthi and Videha Mukthi’. Whatever happens, the Jeevan Muktha never worries. His
mind is always turned toward God. He knows that all are one. This is the Jeevan Muktha
state. Yet, he has body consciousness. The Videha Muktha has no body consciousness,
so he is called as, ‘Videha’, without body. Swami said that King Janaka was the best
example of this.
9 June 2013 Morning meditation
Vasantha : Swami, please give me Videham Mukthi. I am always thinking about the
body.
Swami : You are Videha Muktha. In this world, you alone are Videha Muktha. You
are showing the world the 'without body' state. No one does as you do.
Vasantha : Then why is there always body consciousness, the whole body in pain.
Swami : This is for world liberation. You have given your body for this. Your body
is for world karmas.
End of meditation
Now let us see about this. I have had no body consciousness from a young age. I
have no feelings of thirst or hunger. Why is this so? It is because this is the first time I
am born in this world. I have no body. I have no ‘i’. It is only when there is ‘i’ (ego), do
thoughts come about the body. My only thoughts are of Swami. I do not have any other
thoughts. Thus in my final moments, my body will become a jyothi and merge with
Swami’s body. I also pray to Swami to offer my body to Him. Thus, I offered my body for
world karmas. It is through my sadhana, a new body will come. I will then offer this to

Swami. In this world, no one has ever done in this way before. This prayer, ‘Loka
Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu’ has been proclaimed from Age to Age, time after time. I
too demonstrate it in my life. Swami, the greatest Avatar came here to demonstrate it.
He showed the real meaning and demonstrated Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu.
He carried all the karmas of the world and left His body. He now comes in a new body.
I want to offer my body to Swami, but have offered it for world karmas. After the
karmas end in this body that I offer to the world, it will change and be made anew. It will
change according to my wishes and become young, beautiful and virginal. I will then
offer it to Swami This is Videham Mukthi. I am in the state of Videham Mukthi in order
to bestow the Jeevan Mukthi state on all. Yet, all of you offer your body to your desires.
You work hard to fulfill these desires; expending great amounts of energy and using
your life force. Then without fulfilling your desires, you offer your body to the fire. You
then are reborn and again offer your body for your desires. With each new birth a new
body comes. Yet, I offer my body for world well-being. This body changes and becomes a
new body. So, enough of taking ever-new bodies. For this body, you get anger, lust,
greed, jealousy, attachment and ego. Realize this!
Yesterday Amar searched all places for divine
post. There is a large wall behind the Suddha Sathwa
building. There he saw some writing on the wall in a
red painted square. He asked someone there what
was written. They said it was Tamil and gave the
meaning for 'Amara Pista' - immortal pistachio. A
photograph was taken. We then searched on the
internet and found out the symbolism for pistachio.
10 June 2013 Morning meditation
Vasantha : Swami, what is this You have written,
‘Amara and Pista’?
Swami : In Sathya Yuga, all are eternal. All will live happy and healthy lives in bliss.
Vasantha : Now I understand Swami.
End of meditation
In Sathya Yuga, all become Jeevan Muktha. All are happy and healthy. This is a
memorable day, an evergreen day. Which day is this? Swami wrote this yesterday. Is it
that day? No, no! It is the day Swami comes! However many yugas may come, all must
remember this day. Now awake, enough of maya! Enough of body consciousness! Forget
the body and come to the Atma. There is only one all pervading Atma which is in all. The
gates of Truth open. Swami is waiting to welcome you. Whoever reads this, let Swami’s
grace shower on them.
