Develop intimacy with a personal God
How do we become intimate with our personal God? How to get spiritual nearness to God? There is nousein physical nearness. It is only spiritual nearness that is permanent. This is shown by the devotees of Panduranga. As they were always calling Bhaktha Sakha Bhagavan, the friend of the devotees, the Lord came running to help them. The same God is here now. Will He not help us? Sure He will help. Yet, we should call Him in the correct way. Though Lord Panduranga is an idol in the temple, He came and helped His devotees. Now, this greatest Avatar live damongst us, awalking God. Even though He was in Puttaparthi, from wherever devotees called Him, He went there to help them. However, this was help for all worldly matters, problems and to save them from dangers. They called on Him to escape from worldly matters, temporary things. The thought must arise in us to become permanently free from problems and dangers. Only then will we acquire spiritual closeness to God.
