The Authoress of the book - an introduction
Mrs. Vasantha Manoharan, the authoress of the book "LIBERATION HERE ITSELF RIGHT NOW" hails from a small village by name Vadakkampati, 3 km west of Kalikudi near Thirumangalam in Madurai District. Her father, Madhurakavi Alwar was a freedom fighter. It is noteworthy that he presented the kadhi cloth to Mahatma Gandhi, which he himself had spun and woven from the cotton planten in his home garden. Her mother was Mrs. Vedavalli. They are a devout Vaishnavite family.
Mrs Vasantha, being an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna, has got the spark of Bhakthi which turned into a flame in the long run to make her know about the eternal blessing. At the age of 35, when she was in mmeditation one day, she got the intuition from Lord Krishna that Shri Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi is none other than his own incarnation. From that day onwards she became a "Sai Bhakthai". She wrote in her book "Sri Sai Gananjali" hundreds of verses in praise of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Later, Mrs. Vasantha used to get Darshan of Sri Sathya Sai Baba often in her meditation which enriched her with incredible and strange divine experiences. "Liberation Here Itself Right Now" is an anthology if such holy experiencees obtained from Sri Sathya Sai Baba as revealed to the authoress.
