Thought for the day

In the beginning see the world as maya. After turning within and seeing the vision of God inside, one should then see the entire world as God.

From the book 10 Avatars in 1

Matsya Avatar

For the last few days oil appeared in our pooja room. Why this oil? Is this for karmasamhara? Like this, we discussed. One day I put my hand under the paduka peetam and found oil. All saw. It was oil from the Nangenari temple, a Vishnu temple.  A few months ago, my naadi stated that the skin problems on my body were not due to diseases and that there is no medicine for it. These are the karmas of the world.  For this the naadi recommended that I apply the oil from the temple. S.V immediately went to the temple, performed pooja and brought the oil. It had a different smell, so I did not use it.  Now Swami has sent the same oil. It indicates the karmas of the world. Now the final work for the Stupi is taking place. It is at this time the oil is coming. It indicates the karmas of the world being destroyed.  Yesterday on July17,2009 Swami said, “When we see each other, all will be finished. At that time the Deva’s will send you a new saree and jewels. Then I will take each of your old jewels that represent one of the nine plantes. I will remove these and put new jewels on you. At that time I will also tie a new mangal.”

I said for this please show some proof.

On the 17th morning, a lot of amrith appeared on both of Swami’s picture. All took. At night we saw Swami’s padukas and found oil on the Shaligram. This Shaligram is symbolic of the fish avatar. This oil did not have any smell.

Morning Meditation

Vasantha: Swami yesterday oil came from the shaligram, what does it mean?

Swami:      The Shaligram is the fish avatar. This avatar was there when pralaya was taking place.  Then the new creation came. This is karmasamhara. This oil coming from the fish avatar indicates pralaya. This pralaya means the destruction of karmas.

Vasantha: Now I understand Swami, let us see.

End of Meditation

Here we have a shaligram which is symbolic of the fish avatar. Yesterday oil had appeared on it. How did the fish avatar come? Before Prayala one fish came and grew larger and larger in size. The seeds for the new creation were then collected and kept on its tale.

Now let us see about this. One chatur yuga ago, there was a king named Sathyavratha. He was a great devotee. He performed many austerities. Once he was at the river Kritamala performing Sandhyavandan.  He took water in the palms of his hands. At that time, he saw a small fish in his palm. Seeing the fish, he threw it along with the water back into the river. Immediately the small fish said, “Oh King you take me with you. Here the bigger fishes may eat me.” Then the King placed the fish in a water jar and brought it back to his house. The fish grew very big and said, “Oh King you take me somewhere else.” Then he put the fish in a well. The fish grew five feet in length. He then put the fish in a big tank.  At last he placed the fish in the ocean. At that time I said, “I am the Lord Narayana. Now pralaya is coming. Collect all the seeds of new creation and make one strong boat. Then put all the seeds inside the boat and tie it to my tail” He did so. Prayala came and the world was destroyed. It was full of water. The fish was pulling the boat, swimming here and there in the water. Then the new creation emerged

Now the water pralaya will not come and destroy the world.  Through my pralaya tears  the karmas of the world will be destroyed. Oil is symbolic of karmasamhara. The fish avatar shaligram is symbolic of pralaya. When we finish the parkaram work the karmas of the world will be destroyed. The Stupi prakarams represent the 5 elements. This oil is removing the pollution. According to the agamya shastra this 5th prakaram represents earth. Earth is called the karmabhoomi. For our karmas we have been born on earth. So the 5th prakaram work is very difficult. There are four gateways to reach the Stupi. One day Ganapathi Stapathi’s assistant came and said, “First you must complete the four entrances. Then the power which is stored in the five prakarams will go outside through the four gateways and spread.” Every night we search for something on the padukas. When we search, oil always appears on Eddy’s baby finger. Why it is? He asked, “Is this my karma?” Three times this has happened. I said, “It is not your karma, but world karma.” I told about Krishna taking the Govaradhana Giri mountain as an example.

In Gokulam Krishna asked the Gopas, “Why are you performing pooja to Indra? Who has seen Indra? Do pooja to Govaradhana giri. In this mountain our cows are grazing.” Then they began to perform pooja and so Indra got very angry. He showered so much rain it was as if it was a pralaya. For seven days there was hail.  All were afraid and did not know anyway to escape. Then Krishna immediately lifted the Govardhanagiri with His little finger. For all seven days the Gopals, cows and cave were safe under the mountain. The Gorvadhanagiri protected them from lightening, rain, thunder etc…

In the same way, the entire world is suffering from the karmas of Kali. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has descended as avatar to rescue the people from the Kali. Under one Govardhana mountain, one Gokulam could stay. Yet, how can the entire world escape from this karma pralaya? One mountain is not enough. Before Swami said, “I will carry a mountain range.” That mountain range is the Stupi. The entire world will benefit from their karma and safely live under the Stupi. This is Sathya Yuga. They will benefit and karmas will be removed.

What has Krishna taught through this story of the Govardhana mountain? It is to not to perform pooja to the God who cannot seen by the eyes but to shower love on the creation that can be seen by you. Show love, perform service and worship.

Swami took on July 26,2009 during evening darshan in Sai Kulwant Hall.
