THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - KAAMA DEVA BECOMES JNANA RAMA

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

Our unfulfilled aspirations, desires and attachments continue in the next birth.

Vedas is the knower of the Veda.

In the Bhagavad Gita’s 15th chapter, it is declared that the Aswatta tree is theSamsara tree, the tree of worldly life. Creation is the tree of Samsara, of worldly existence, those who are born, marry and create a lineage. Yet, the roots of this tree are in God. This is because the world has appeared only from God. The tree grows as all who are born in the world increase their lineage and are bound to them through attachment
to ‘I and mine’. Yet, somedo realizethat there is no lineage for any and that all are on an individual journey. Father, mother, wife, husband, children, allareonly temporary. We come to this world alone and will leave alone;none leave with us. If this isrealized, then one can cut through this Samsara tree with the axe of dispassion. The leaves, branches, fruits and flowers are your lineage. You must cut through these with detachment. We   must attain the God whomwe have come from. He is the root of all.He must be attained  there. How many millions of millions have grown in this tree of worldly life? Have any  attained a place in history? No. It is only those who have cut through this tree with strong dispassionare remembered in history. Only those like Paramahamsa Ramakrishna, Ramana Maharshi, Adi Shankara, Sri Aurobindo and other great saints and sages areremembered. Those who make the Samsara tree grow, must be born and die again and again.
In my case,I want to live with God in the world. Yet, seeing the suffering and separation in the family of every Avatar I was afraid. As long asthe ignorantare in the world, suffering and difficultieswillnever come to an end. Yet, my desire to marry God only went on increasing more and more. I performedpenance,as I must bringVaikunta to the earth. As Swami and I cannot live together on this earth,Vaikuntamustcome
down.
