Awareness Article #6

       All in this world are living off the wealth of God. Which is your wealth and which is God’s?  This one thing is not understood  by 99% of the people in the world. What have we brought with us to this world? This alone is our  wealth. You may say that you were born with empty hands, but what of the deep impressions in your heart? This is your real wealth. When you die, deep impressions are what you take with you to your next life.

       You may say, ‘All that I have earned is my wealth: car, house, bank balance, position, I have earned all this’. However, all belongs to God. Make this as a deep impression in your mind. Though the five elements belong to God, we live here and use all for ourselves. We must repay our debt to Him through the offering of good actions. Is the air your wealth? Have you earned it? Yet, you use it. Is water your wealth? Rain is God’s grace, but you are using it without a thought. Is the sun your wealth or the wealth of your lineage? You are only living through the light of the sun. What have you done to repay this? To whom does the earth belong? You however, take the land and built a house on it.

       The earth and the sky belong to God. How many have built their houses and palaces and ruled? Yet, one day all will be gone. What then is yours? All is given by God. We use the five elements to live. Therefore, we must perform actions that are useful to God to repay our debt. This is what He expects from us. How much Swami preached the last 84 years. We must practice this and realize we are  Atma.
